The AC ELWA 2 is a 0–3.5 kW continuously variable water heater for grid-connected photovoltaic systems. The AC ELWA 2 uses surplus photovoltaic energy for your hot water, thereby optimizing the self-consumption of your existing PV system. At the same time, self-sufficiency is increased, protecting against unpredictable or rising operating costs. The continuously variable control regulates the PV feed-in power to zero.

The AC ELWA 2 features our proven optional hot water backup: Even when the sun isn't shining bright enough, the hot water can be heated to the desired temperature using energy from the public grid. The unit can be installed in hot water and buffer tanks.
